• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I just feel like a massive failure

I was awaiting my blood results for a long time

Each day felt like anxiety

"Am I pre diabetic? Or did my sugar decrease?"

I felt that because I mostly cooked at home and lost weight, I was on the path to not being diabetic and reversing my PCOS

Then the results came yesterday

My A1C went from 5.6 to 5.8

My glucose also increased

….pre diabetes

Rn I just feel like a fucking failure

I was trying to avoid this shit, but I failed

I fucking failed like the piece of shit I am

Wtf man

I see my doc Monday but I'm afraid of getting the regular "just cut carbs and diet"

I almost want to throw out everything pasta, rice, and everything in my fridge

I'm lost

I want to starve myself but somehow that's worse

There's Keto, eliminating, pasta, all these suggestions

I don't know what to do. It is all overwhelming

I feel powerless, like I'll be a full blown diabetic at 20 fucking 7

I'm too young for this shit

Just kill me now….

Exercising can help bring it down too
I wouldn't worry too much. I had my A1C checked 3 times this year. First time 5.4, second time 5.7, and third time 5.2
I think it changes a lot. Keep eating healthy and pick carbs with lower glycemic indexes. You can google online to get a list.

I had diabetes so I gave up bread pasta rice potatoes and lost weight reversed it. It's not a life sentence but it's so embarrassing. People see type 2 as a failure in you. For me the food was because of the depression. Now I'm not diabetic anymore. It's a radical solution and most people would rather be diabetic than give up all the taste in the world. Not sure I recommend it but I can say it worked for me. You can turn it around it's hard as hell but it's not impossible. The women in my family die from diabetes all my aunts my grandmother and my moms is out of control so I did something radical because the writing is on the proverbial wall.

if you're overweight, you can lower your glucose and A1C by losing weight, and since you're young, start exercising, walk then jog

That sucks but it's reversible. Things could definitely be worse.

Being told that you are "pre-diabetic" is very common and is not something to be very depressed about. Doctors like to scare people and hustle drugs so that they can get their kickbacks from big pharma. Almost one third of the population is "pre diabetic" - and if they adjust the numbers a little more they can get it up to half, or maybe 95%.

"pre" is the keyword! It seems you have accepted youre diabetic, which you're not! If you work really hard, it won't be easy, you have the chance to reverse this.

there are plenty of documentaries on YouTube about people reversing theirs, and you can too! Of course you won't be able to eat as you previously were and you definitely will have to workout.

Start of small with incorporating smoothies instead of lunch. I never suggest you eat anything you don't like. Maybe add some natural fruits, and nuts instead of junk food. It's easier said then done, but when the Dr say "pre" use that as motivation.

I wish you the best!

I didn't go full keto but close. Definitely no carbs after noon. Anyway I went from diabetic, to pre, and now not at all. I'm 60 years old. Went from 250lbs, to 185 in 7 months. Never been to a gym in my life. During that 7 months, my weight loss sort of stalled for a while, then it finally started to drop again. I made lots of cabbage soup. It's a lot of work, but can be done. Now that I'm hovering at the 185 mark, it seems easy to maintain (or at least it does currently). I still snack, but not in the evenings. Too bad all that hasn't helped my anxiety and depression. Good luck
