What is the best option to navigate this forum without being compromised?
Is a VPN enough?
Is for+tails overkill for this forum? I assume it is, just asking.

VPN is enough for access to SS.
You don't need Tails and Tor to access SS.

My biggest problems are always these annoying captchas from google if you want to log in/register on a platform or forum.
Often they does not work properly if you are have VPN on.

Damn google captchas.

Actually you should assume that VPN providers will comply with information requests from the authorities, so I'm curious why you'd say that.

You'd basically only hide your IP from the people who run SS.

I didn't say you did any of that. I just meant to say not posting anything risky is actually your best bet and otherwise browsing this place is pretty harmless.
