  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

There have been studies indicating that an experience with a psychedelic may help cancer patients with anxiety (like me) change their outlook for the better. However, such studies are small and hard to get into, and some patients wind up with placebo. If I were able to get the drug for therapeutic use outside a study, there is no way I could get a sitter, never mind an experienced one. How much potential trouble would I be in to trip solo?

*Purely hypothetical question, as I have no way of getting the drug!*

I don't think you would be in much trouble..I actually enjoy tripping alone.I would rather trip alone than with a stranger.Just make sure you are in a good place mentally and in comfortable, safe surroundings before you go in.And brace yourself mentally..Just tell yourself "Im gonna take this sacrament, its gonna fuck me up for awhile ,but its OK..Its gonna be a good experience. Its not gonna last forever.." I wish they would hurry up and legalize psilocybin for depressed people.

I've only ever done shrooms alone, quite a few times now. If you are outside the US, and aside from a couple other countries you can get mushroom grow kits and truffles legally. I've bought them from a couple of sites and they both have great customer service.

Set and setting is very important, if you are very depressed right before taking them or in a negative environment don't bother, if you can lift your mood even slightly it will make all the difference. For me the first 20 minutes are gruelling, feeling like I'm being dragged through the deepest hallways of my psyche but once it takes you up and out from that its an amazing experience and I always get super deep insights into all sorts of things.

I'd like to try DMT next but haven't been in the right frame of mind or found the courage, maybe soon if I'm still alive then.

Thank you both for this information!

It does sound like a good way to change one's perspective, which is why I'm so interested. I'm in the U.S. (Mid-Atlantic, so not anywhere near where they grow naturally). I think I can get the spores, but I'm not in the frame of mind to take care of anything right now; I've let all my regular house plants die.

Getting the stuff is easier than you think haha, but I don't recommend it if your anxiety is bad, it supercharges your current mindset and if you are in a negative one its a big spooky
