• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I plan on jumping early 2025, and I have some questions regarding my SI. I have a severe fear of heights, making it hard for me to CTB by jumping. I decided on this method regardless, since it's by far the easiest one for me. I already have a building in mind, around 30 floors or higher. I've already figured out how to get to the roof, but every time I was up there I started hyperventilating out of fear. Does anyone have tips on how to get over my fear of heights? I've contemplated getting drunk on the day I jump, but I don't know if that will impact anything in any way. My fear of heights definitely has gotten a lot less severe over the past few months, but it's still there. Any help greatly appreciated.

That building you chosen will definitely kill you on impact. Heres a suggestion. Try landing on your head. Kills you quicker. But makes a mess.

If it was me I would just try and get up and over as quickly as possible, no time to think. I reckon even people without fear of heights would get pretty strong SI if they attempted like this as a pure biological/mental reaction, it might not be something you can "work on" other than being extremely convinced this is the right thing for you to do and just pushing through the fear. You are courageous.

Jumping is the method I'm currently considering, though I only have access to 9th floor. I wish I could have 30.
I'm thinking of soothing myself with lots of benzos and then just jumping, whatever physical symptom I get.

There are some methods I know I could never use and this is one.

The building you choosed seems very high, so no matter how you fall you'll die instantly.

But i will be honnest with you, SI/fear of height/fear of the jump is damn hard to overcome normally so for someone who is also scared by height...
If you already experience high troubles and be shocked just by getting on the roof, it is clear that you will have lots of difficulties to execute it.

The only advise i could give you is to go straight, to not think, to not look down there. Just going straight at the edge of the roof and jump or let yourself go, no matter how. As i said at this height you'll die instantly you'll fell nothing even if you fall on your legs.

I don't think alcohol or drugs/meds will help.

This is from my own experience. It's not a universal truth as everyone is different, but it's already hard to jump for anyone, it's even harder if you're afraid by height. This method is more common in some big asian cities, but that's an exception. Those peoplelive there, they are used to see this height everyday, they just open their window and jump.
It would ask you years of practice including skydiving and therapy to overcome your fear.

As far as you have a spot placed very high, this method is seducing because it doesn't need material or setup, because it is quick, painless and close to 99,99% lethal above a certain height. It appears kinda romantic in some ways. But it is very very difficult to execute, i speak from my own experience.

The only way to make it, is to make it straight, and find the impulse, that's all. If you can't, there are some other methods you could consider.

Just think about the fact that all the suffering will be gone. That fear is just a mental illusion

I've been considering this. I live on the 30th floor it's the top floor so the balcony is an option. But that would mean leaving a real ugly mess down on the ground and there's a daycare attached to the building. Regardless of what people see I'm sure it would be traumatizing to know. But access to the top of a building isn't easy anymore. Cameras and fobs that key to the floor are common. I googled images of people who jumped from that height. It actually made me step back from the method. If I do choose it as a method it has to be where the mess isn't so close to so many buildings. My issue is that I don't want to traumatize my daughter who is grown but very young still. I wish someone would throw me off the building. Push me or something.

If I wanted to jump, but couldn't take the last step, I could try to trick myself into skipping the last step stage, trying the following:

Exert myself physically to get my heart rate up and my breathing more labored. Usually this is done by squatting, but given the location, a quick climb up the stairs to the desired height should suffice.
Sitting down, you start breathing quickly and intensively, as dogs do, but inhale through the nose and exhale with great force through the mouth, as if pushing air out of the mouth. 10 such inhalations and exhalations in a crouch should be enough, after which you stand up sharply without breathing, leaning over the cliff (you can temporarily hold on to something with one hand) and either clamp your nose and start trying with all your might to exhale through it, but so that no air comes out, or you plunge your thumb into your mouth halfway and blow into it with all your might, also so that no air comes out of your mouth. Both ways are suitable and to make sure that it is done correctly - the abdominal muscles should tense up.

The result — self-induced syncope and unconscious free fall

I have a similar plan although still looking for a place. For me I'm just going to do it quickly and without a thought so then there is no time for me to get scared or to change my mind.

Jumping can be really painful
I have seen a lot of videos where people have done this and other people have seen the dead body of the person, which must have been really traumatizing

Anyway, to your question:
I don't know if it can help but I've also seen them just close their eyes and do it

My personal opinion:
I would strongly advise against jumping because there can be more victims and also more damage, trauma etc

Take care of yourself
