• If you haven't yet, we highly encourage you to check out our Recovery Resources thread!
  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I got on escitalopram 10mg 4 days ago and tried to get myself off just to find it too difficult to do as arousal was hard to achieve and when i finished it did not feel pleasurable. I dont want to feel less than a man and not get my second half just to tell her im impotent.

This is something about which you can be very up-front with your doctor. It's a common side effect, so doctors know patients may experience it. They will have suggestions for changing the prescription or other things that might work. That's more advisable than just cutting yourself off from them. In addition to needing something to help with your mental health, SSRI withdrawal can be terribly challenging.

This is going to sound crazy.. Try kale. Get a big bag and dump a bunch into smoothies. Consume as much as possible for a few days or indefinitely, because it's good for you. Doesn't have to be in smoothies but with frozen strawberries and bananas you won't notice it. I take Lexapro and wake up with a morning wood that could carve the declaration of independence into stone tablets.
