• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

Just curious why people vomit when using SN. Is it an involuntary action that your body does because it recognizes it as a poison? Or is it just because of the salty taste? I've drank salty water solutions before while fasting (electrolyte salt water) so I don't think the taste alone will make me puke.

its involuntary, your body realizes it's being harmed and will try and remove the problem. for some, it may be the salty taste if you have a sensitive gag reflex

It's the body's natural reaction to detecting a toxin and involves the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ), which plays a vital role in identifying harmful substances in your blood and cerebrospinal fluid. When the CTZ detects these toxins, it sends signals to trigger the vomiting reflex (emesis). Located in the medulla oblongata, the CTZ has different receptors that each serve specific functions in this process. Irritation in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract can also lead to the releasing of both dopamine and serotonin, with dopamine typically being released in larger quantities. This is why targeting the dopamine D2 receptor is important with SN, particularly since antagonists at this receptor can more importantly aid in gastric emptying, moving contents from the stomach to the small intestine more quickly for absorption. Even more important for SN purposes is this prokinetic effect over its actual anti-nausea properties.

I suppose some may due to the saltiness itself, but more so for the reason described above.

With whatever you decide, I hope you find everything you are looking for and get peace & serenity.
