  • Hey Guest,

    As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Has anyone taken steps to attempt to recover but also decided to have the means to ctb in case it doesn't work out? Is it counterproductive to do this? I find great comfort in the idea of having the means to ctb on my terms if things don't go well

my protective layers ;

1. 1.5 years savings,
2. Savings for medical care
3. Six months savings
4. Another Six Month Savings
5. People in my life that can help me

I find comfort in knowing that I have many options when things don't go according to plan. Other than that; I know that any other problem can be resolved within, which brings comfort.

Yeah, I'm closing in on suicide as well as doing some basic level of daily activity. I don't believe I can "recover", but I might be able to survive until a good method presents itself.

just having the knowledge that ctb is a possibility for yourself can be a huge relief

In my case i think that having a reliable option of cbt makes trying to recover easier? Like let's say; if suddenly things get worse despite me doing "my best" I can always make that final decision even it's in the far future. It's kind of comforting, I guess.

I'm in a constant suicide/exist struggle. On the inside I am desperate to die and on the outside I fight against it. I've always got a method nearby Incase everything gets too much
