• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Yeah yet another abortion thread. It is so hypocritical. These people pretend to care for children. I saw DeSantis in the news when he announced his new measures to prohibit abortion.
But when people get shot to death every week, or even every single day they don't give a shit. Many lie on purpose about the danger of covid to get more voters. Just because they see a strategical benefit in it. I think the Democrats also have high dead body count. But not as much as the Grand Old Party.
Moreover the Republicans don't give a shit about homeless people and depict them all as drug junkies who have chosen to live in poverty. I find that digusting.

Yeah this thread is kind of partisan. And not really balanced. Who gives a shit barely anyone reads this subforum anyway. But it is just my honest opinion.

They claim to care about new life. But when the life is born noone gives a fuck when so many children have to live on the streets. (homelessness)
The inequality is so extreme and unfair in the US. I don't believe in meritocracy at all. It is all a big lie.

The perspective of a fundamentalist means nothing because they are merely an indoctrinated member of a political army. It could be said that they primarily care about 'getting to heaven' in the afterlife, as well as maintaining their existing world-view and social structures. Just because there are a lot of them, doesn't stop them from being full of shit.

It's somewhat bitter, they claim to care about kids, but completely neglect them once they are actually born.

I'm a religious fundamentalist. I am against abortion. I think if you don't want kids, you should keep your legs closed. At the same time, I think bringing more people into this world is tragic. I am not going to support abortion, but a depopulation program or a meteor obliterating the earth would be great.

People become homeless for all kinds of reasons. It is false to say that 99% are drug addicts. There are victims of domestic violence, sexual trafficking, major disasters, veterans with PTSD, youth thrown out of their homes or who have no parents, the elderly, disabled and yes, some due to mental health, substance abuse and/or both. In fact, I once knew of a female doctor whose husband was abusive and she suffered from severe postpartum psychosis. Her husband ended up locking her out of their home and all their money and banking. She couldn't work for a period of time and ended up homeless. Despite all that, she never used drugs.

And can you really imagine a world without pedophiles, men who commit rape or sexual assault? Men who target the young and vulnerable and traffic teenage girls? As delusional as that idealistic vision is, the reality is plenty of girls and women are forced to carry and birth babies who are unwanted. Once they're born, most states turn their backs on them. Or, foster and adoptive home are abusive and further traumatize these poor doomed unwanted children who were never loved. Who does this help exactly?

And how would that work exactly? The depopulation program? Also to say keep their legs closed seems a bit close minded because it isn't as simple. I do believe people should use protection to prevent pregnancies, more than one form especially because most people like to pretend birth control is enough to stop and I feel like people expect the women to be completely responsible when it falls on both party. The same way a men can leave, a women can too. But once it happens, I do believe people should have a choice. And also, do you follow everything your religion says? I find it very hypocritical when religious people claim abortions is wrong but so is having premarital sex yet that doesn't stop any of those religious people.

It helps them feel better about themselves. They feel they are saviors and somehow saving those innocent fetus. But how does birthing more children help when this world is literal shit? They can pretend their helping, give themselves a clap in the back and believe their god will somehow open the gate to heaven for them for doing some holy service. But in reality, that's one more children going to the foster system, one more child that's going to be abused, raped, have some form of mental illness (that is going to be screwed by mental health system because they suck), and so on. One more child that will be in pain. Maybe they won't be but the chance of them being in pain is more likely.
