just thinking out loud here but i am so extremely tired of corporate holidays , destroying our wallets, causing chaos and self doubt, and not to mention the false sense of hope and security that each new year brings.

just a bunch of broken promises
who are we really fooling ? ourselves ?
well i f&cking guess so.
just another false sense of security wrapped over the masses, we're all still dying, we are all still floating in space , or flat land or whatever you choose to believe it's not going away.
now, i am really glad people are bettering themselves, and feel good. but when it all hits me, the prison of society we are really in , and the lack of control we really have, it makes me feel all so hedonistic.

i just think it's funnny how us beautiful creatures presume that each year will be brought with a thousand apologies of the last , and a fresh start to cover every shameful mistake we've made and every self harming pattern we can't break.

the idea of reinventing oneself is not one i disagree with. i am just speculating on the new years nonsense and generally how much corporate profits from these holidays but half of my hometown was goddam homeless to start into the new year. sick because they just raised the price of garbage bags , GARBAGE BAGS !!!!!!!!!
