  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I feel you. I have PTSD so I definitely have days like that too where I am in constant fear. What helps me in those times is to get out of my mind, bc my mind is such a scary place. Curl up under the covers, or wherever you feel most safe (or least unsafe), plug in some earbuds, and watch your favorite show. Taking a freezing cold (and I mean freezing) shower helps too. I have a whole slew of physical and mental coping skills, and I'm happy to talk any time.

When I'm feeling impulsive, I try to set rules for myself so that I have to wait until I'm aloud to make a decision. For example, I was having a really impulsive, panicky day when I really wanted to cbt right away. I decided that suicide is a big decision, so I had to wait a month before settling in an answer. You don't have to choose a month. It could always be a week or two if you prefer. Just something that gives you time to fully think through and understand all your options
