The GOAT of Seals, imho, will always be Minazo. He became a HUGE meme in 2006, and the Internet doubled down on their love for him when they realized he had passed away an entire year before he became a global sensation. While he had been famous in Japan for his love of buckets, it wasn't until a captioned photo of him made the rounds on YTMND that the rest of humanity finally appreciated him for the lovable lad he was. Often called "lolrus," he was indeed actually an elephant seal.

RIP Minazo. I hope they have buckets in the seal afterlife.
