Resource SearchEngines more free than Google?

Which search engine would you recommend?
Google Scholar it's really good at finding researches and surveys but you have to use the right keywords.
The problem is that i find normal Google a bit limited and restricted, especially if you search about suicide.
Maybe it's just me, if not what alternatives are there?

It's not exclusively hacking. They're just search operators used to dig deeper or 'around'.

I use duckduckgo for browsing here and any searches I have used it for are not restrictive. I don't trust Google, they think they own the Internet.

I personally use DuckDuckGo as my browser of choice for both my phone and laptop.

I wouldn't say the difference is massive, but there is a slight improvement if you really pin down some key words in your search.

In regards to search engines and algorithms and doing research keep in mind some use each other's. So ddg would use bing's and several others.
