She took my gun

My wife will be moving out and we will be separating. These 4 years were the best of my life and I can't understand anything that's happening. I just want to wake up and this all be one really long bad dream. I'm not sure when but after we got back from therapy I went to check where I keep my gun hidden and it has been moved. She must have thought it was a chance. There's other ways I can ctb like with a car but I really preferred the gun. I can't ask her where it is because then she'll know I was looking for it.

Last night my mind just tortured me with constant memories and feelings of things we'll never do again. I can't fucking do this. I can't fucking do this.

I'm so sorry. Is there a reason behind the separation? And you can always just ask hey who gets to keep the gun? To see what she says

Say that you're worried about her mental state, and that you'll request a wellness check if she doesn't give you the gun. I'm joking of course… or am I? :D
You could say you want to sell it, clean it?, or you want to go to the shooting range and shoot.
Say you heard a noise, like someone was trying to break into the house (say it turned out to be an animal), and you went to get the gun, didn't find it, and now you're scared it's missing - and where is it anyway.

It's horrible. She says she needs space to figure out what she needs.

That might be a good idea, but I think she'd know why I was really looking for it. I know she took it away after therapy because she thought I might use it to stop the pain.
