  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I have been taking DXM for like 4 days straight now, and last night I took it with benadryl and had a deliriant experience. Woke up today hearing things still, and have strong urges to take DPH and DXM together tonight. I have made a friend, a girl, who I really like and has helped me want to improve recently. But when I started taking this I have been messaging her every night while delirious making a fool of myself and she tells me it worries her a lot.

I don't know what to do... I can't bring myself to throw away the pills. It feels like I'm in a waking dream right now. My cognitive abilities are almost gone. I was genuinely hearing voices this morning. I really hope I didn't permanently hurt myself

What's DXM?

Even though it sounds like you've been overdoing somewhat I doubt you've done any permanent damage with 4 days of OTC meds. Honestly, just last it out for 12-24hrs and you should be good. I have personal drug experience and pushed it to extremes with no long lasting. A good sleep usually followed by a ravenous hunger and a subsequent meal pretty much always sorts you out.

The worst drugs are prescribed tbh. Baring spice and alcohol that is.

DXM is a cough med that acts as a dissasociative in high doses.

Yeah, that stuff can be bad news for sure, up to and including hallucinations, psychosis, seizures, and worse (coma or death). I kinda think you ought to throw them away if you can (and I believe you know that). Also, if you're taking psych meds you can end up with serotonin syndrome which will really suck.

P.S. It is psychologically addictive.

DXM or dextromethophan

mc chris - the tussin

I used to take dxm occassionally. actually developed a bit of a sensitivity to dxm to the point where I avoid it in cold meds these days.

dxm doesnt have highs. it has plateaus. take too much and you dont get "higher". instead, there are 4 or so plateaus ranging from "sorta normal" to "complete incapacitation".
