There is no point in smoking either. Obviously, you can't smoke all the time, and when you stop smoking, you eventually become feeling yourself worse than if you weren't smoking at all. The additional pleasure you can take from smoking will be negated by additional depressiveness in the moments of having the nicotine hungriness, so your average mood does not become any better.

Erm... nonsense. I vape as well. I'll be dead within a month. Why should I deny myself any pleasure I can get in this time.

I stopped due to swapping it for vape. In the uk highest nicotine level is 1.8 but back then it was 2.4. I saved soooooooo much money. In portugal I got 6%

Hah, the depressive part is just not as obvious as the pleasurable one, so you need some introspection to figure out the connection between low mood and deprivation from the drug and be able to admit it. This is how all addictive drugs work, no matter if we're speaking of nicotine, methedrone, heroin, or something else. They give you a temporary pleasure which seems very tempting, but it's not given to you for free, it's rather a credit which you have to pay back soon.

I have enough smokers around me, and I have an opportunity to see how miserably they look when they are deprived from the possibility to smoke due to various temporary circumstances. The only thought that comes to mind when seeing their withdrawal symptoms is "fuck this so called pleasure".
I'll be dead within a month. Why should I deny myself any pleasure I can get in this time.
I presume, your first payback moments may come much sooner than a month, but you should know better.

Smoking is fun. I used to work with a bunch of smokers and I used to think myself "Look at all these dead inside losers, I'm glad I'm not like them" Look at me now, I think I relate to their self destructive tendencies now. They all had that aura to them. It's a beautiful feeling in a pleasant and a self destructive way, a literal oxymoron to most.
