• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I had plans to go out on the bike to go down to the chemist for my prozac. I also needed some groceries from the shop next to it. So I got ready, took some pills to relax (while listening to some white noise), but I just couldn't go out the fucking door. I had to order some groceries from an online store and delay going to the chemist. I just had to post this to get it out of my system! I'm drinking a shot of whisky to calm the nerves. This may seem like a minor problem to some people, but to folks like me it is a stressful and tiresome ordeal. This is not a life!

Hard relate... I know the struggle...

I've been out of my house maybe 10 times this year?...

When it begins to manifest more like agoraphobia, it's definitely far from a "minor" problem...

Getting out the door is 90% of the effort. I like going for bike rides, but I don't like the interaction at the pharmacy to pick up a prescription. Going to the grocery store is okay. I don't like ordering delivery because I don't want to pay for it and I don't like someone coming to my place.

Agreed! I had this feeling of being completley overwhelmed at the idea of doing both. So, I took the easiest option, for me, anyway. I'm not into the whole prescription interaction myself. I'll just have to take some deep yoga breaths and push myself to do it!

I have a mild form of it. What helps me is getting to the store immediately as they open, with a list of things I plan to buy. I walk really fast and hurry up. It's less people and people aren't up to chat that early.

Is this an option you think can be helpful to you? Or maybe you can order your groceries and sit in the car while they put them in your trunk. My thinking is you don't have to feel so isolated if you can try to narrow it down to sitting in your car, and it's cheaper. We have to find ways to trick the brain.

You're spot on with the tricking your brain thing. I have done that in the past, but I was just completley overwhelmed with everything today. I'll try again tomorrow! šŸ‘

I totally get the overwhelmed feeling. Sometimes I'll let so much time pass without doing anything because I can't decide what to do first. Good for you for picking an option!

Vodka is cleaner and will allow you to function better. And the alchohol breath will be much less deteactable.

I appreciate that. It was a lot easier tbh I am going to start prioritizing tasks from now on.

It's also cheaper too. I got a bottle of the same stuff I have been drinking for years but it was a lot smaller bottle at an increased price. I heard it has something to do with the supply chain. Anyway ...

I cannot fucking stand social interaction outside of my two chosen people. It is unbearable and I've tried everything I have the willpower for to ease the pain, but I'm worse than ever. This state of existence is inhumane. In particular there are certain interactions that trigger me. I had to argue with my doctor the other day and I won't be over it for weeks at least. I wish there was some fucking mercy. There are so few accommodations for it, too; you're just expected to exposure therapy your way out of it. I'm so exhausted. I just want to be left alone with my two people, but that's impossible as long as you're alive. So, one death please! Have mercy!

I understand your pain! It's such an annoyance to have to deal with doctors and all their shit! šŸ˜ž
