Sodium azide vs sodium nitrite

What is the difference between the 2? Is one of them quicker or more lethal? Is one of them more painful? How do they kill? Etc. Thanks everyone

Is there at least something in the peaceful pill handbook about them? Couldn't find anything in the 2018 version and the other two wouldn't open...

The 2018 versions should certainly have a chapter on lethal inorganic salts, which covers sodium cyanide, azide, and nitrite. The info is updated all the time. On that note there's a more recent one around here than in the resources, it should probably be added (the main updates are changes in the dosage of SN and changing of bicarbonate to antacids).

from what I've read, sodium nitrite is better in every category except one. after sodium nitrite, if someone finds you, I can rescue you

Different reports on peacefulness of both methods. Nitschke promotes azide and nitrite as both relatively painless though discomfort may be involved. However some people on here say neither are peaceful, or 1 is and 1 isn't. But if you do everything said in ppeh for nitrite it can't be that painful. Make sure you use aug 2018 version it's the latest.

I mean, temporarily increasing your pain rating from 9 to 10 is not that much.

Thank you I'm glad you put it that way , sometimes I view the world as in its gets in your way I got a fierce divorce lost everything and had no hope was going to CTB but got sectioned then I lost my job because of that same scenario family came out of nowhere and I felt good I bought some sodium azide and seriously I was watching tv and a documentary came on about this chemical and contradicted everything I believed it would do just as I buy it do you see my thinking?

I view mental and physical pain the same except with the intensity obviously someone with a terminal disease is immensely suffering but when your mind is bad I don't believe they are that far apart do you think he's speaking about that?

Sorry been drinking just want to add I was about to shoot myself and for the first time in over a year my wife came home early unexpectedly I had headphones on and a gun to my head it was hours till she should've been back do you see what I mean?

I noticed your assortment of posts ... but responding to this one.

Physical pain and mental pain are different. Especially when painful suicide methods are involved and you have to wait till you are dead.

Willing to share what show you saw ? What did they claim about sodium azide ?

The show I watched was one of those old school open university programs from the 80s I'm British ( the program wasnt about suicide or sodium azide I'n particular) mainly for students to familiarize themselves with effects of certain chemicals , I'll admit 80% of his lecture went over my head I cant pinpoint what he was actually teaching them maybe because it was just a segment of his whole lecture I couldn't tell you. But I know it's a volatile substance and reacts with metal what I didn't know was the fumes it emits are more deadlier this I did not know he I don't recall the precise method of how to achieve that and then mentioned a lab student had only measured a small amount ( this is after her autopsy ) when in gas form and had killed her , so now I'm even more concerned about other people because originally I was going to isolate myself and take it orally but I'm intrigued now to inhale instead hope I answered your question mate forgive me if my grammar is bad I'm piss drunk properly why this is so long hope I helped
