  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

my stomach hurts so bad. I have work I need to get done, but every 15 minutes I need to use the bathroom and the pain doesn't leave. Its been 5 hours and only just started to become manageable. no work got done. this shit (lol) is horrible, I've had this unknown disability for at least 5 years now and nothing has fixed it. not currently super suicidal, but my menagerie of disabilities has been one of many reasons I've been in the past

i can relate so hard 😭 ive had some severe chronic case of IBS for the past 7 years- if it even is IBS. ive had a bunch of tests done, different diets, they all come back clean and the diets dont help. started taking tylenol and ibuprofen like crazy but it might be causing more damage in the long run. i personally self medicate with weed but now i basically cant do without it. for a long time my symptoms were so constant that i wouldnt eat at restaurants, avoid food in public altogether, and woudnt eat if i knew i was going outside. at least i lost a lot of weight cause of it lol.

its gotten a bit better and i can manage it somewhat, but i still have crazy bad flare ups. recently went to the ER for a very nasty one but im thankful for it tbh.
at the ER I was prescribed something called hyoscyamine sulfate, in pill form- i take it right before i eat a potential trigger food, when im eating something and start to feel sick, or when im already feeling sick.
i would highly recommend looking into it and maybe asking your doctor about it. it seems to be a bit of a lesser known medication since ive had some doctors react like its the first theyve heard of it- but it really works for me. my gastro also approved of it.

be warned tho that you absolutely need to take it with food or the side effects will hit you like a truck- i got sent to the ER again a week after i started taking it cause of it 😅

other stuff i recommend: take tylenol if necessary and avoid NSAIDS and ibuprofen altogether if possible. chamomile tea is awesome for stomach aches. have a cup or two with no sweetners. have peppermint or ginger tea if you feel like vomiting. boil cinnamon sticks with any of your tea if you have diarrhea.
everyone is different but plain crackers and bananas sit really well with me when im having a flare up. if youre having trouble eating anything at all, try apple sauce, and plain white rice. hot baths/ showers help with the cramping but you should also get hot water bottles/heating pads (i have a regular one that gets filled with hot water and another one thats electric.)

hope you feel better!

youre welcome.❤️ sorry if some of it is the same remedies youve tried and havent worked before... just want to help a little. i know how hard it is to deal with pain you have no solution for, and maybe not even knowing what it really is.

ily fellow bird pfp and stomach-issue-haver. I got a bunch of tests and procedures done and the most they could give me was lymphocytic colitis and some prescriptions that never worked. A real game changer was treating my gastric pain and migraines with dragon balm THC+CBD topical. I would slather that stuff over my entire neck and abdomen and it would help a lot. Didn't fix the root, gut problems, but it helps a lot with pain. Pairs really good with a hot rice pillow.

I think I might be in remission after about two years, but idk. Feels like it will just start up again soon. If I didn't have to eat anything I would be in perfect health! Counting my blessings, and wishing the best in your medical sleuthing.
