New River Bridge opens once a year for Bridge Day, when base jumpers are legally allowed to jump. They build ramps and everything. Just show up wearing a cheap used parachute and run and jump. They might even rule it a malfunction.

Here is the FAQ in the New River Bridge Day official website themselves.

You have to register, pay $75 fee, and you must have made 100 base jump prior to participate. And if you a new jumper, you have to take a 3 days training course.
