An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
Hello my dear fellow members, can anyone tell me how to tamper Xanax, I've tried to read a lot of things online, but it's so much different info, I rather ask someone here who successfully did it. I am taking way too many and I need to stop. Please only constructive feedback. Many thanks
Have fun with that. Benzodiazepine withdrawal is fucking hell. I'm 6 months off Klonopin and I'm still living in agony. I hope your experience is much easier. One big tip-you should consider switching to Valium. It is a longer acting benzodiazepine that can make the tapering process slower and easier. Of course you'll have to get your doctor on board to prescribe Valium. Best wishes

I've been on xanax 13 years. Before my son died I would take 1 or 2 a day, allowed 3. Some days I didn't take any. So when he died I had a nice stockpile. I began taking 8-15+ a day to drug myself into stupidity and not have to address his death. I also am prescribed oxycodone which I also never took the 4 per day and had a stockpile to add to the xanax. I spent over a year drugged out, and the next year still over medicated. This last year I still take my meds but not like I did right after Joey died. I had to cut down from the 8-15mg per day xanax. I don't know how much per day you're taking currently. I cut out 2 per day for 2 weeks I guess than kept knocking it down by 2 per day every 2 weeks. I have been heavily medicated-with many meds since my son died. I think the other meds anti depressants anti psychotics sleeping pills the oxy- I didn't notice withdrawls. I now take 3 per day most days some days 2 some 4. I ran out this month and have temazepam to help. I don't think I've ever had a dependence on the xanax or oxy. So my experience may not be very helpful. Whatever you do don't cut out to much at once.

Mostly I take 4 a day which I think it's not that bad. But some days when I'm really low I can take up to 10 or 15 a day. Those cases are rare. Mostly take 4 I would say.

Yes gone gone reducing, some days I take only 4 or 3, others I take 10. It's getting out of control.

I'd try to cut down to 3 per day. On bad days maybe 5. That way you've reduced what you're taking and it wont hit you as hard. I wish you luck with reducing it.

Thanks hun. You know what's the funniest side, is I'm on auto refill monthly, and this month my doc made a mistake and prescribed a total of 4 boxes of 1mg Xanax. Now I have a total of 9 boxes 60 pill each. It makes me at ease though knowing I have enough time to slowly tamper with so many pills lol

October as you surely know is a VERY bad month for me I ran out over a week ago. Monday I can refill I CANNOT wait. Temazepam is not the same it's helped but not even close to working. Very lucky for you to be rich in xanax you can taper and have extra to have aside for when you need extra in the future.

Xanax is a tough one. I've been clean from it for about 6 or 7 years. I'd definitely suggest doing it slowly, like taking 3 a day for a month, then 2, then 1, and not upping your dose on bad days. Looooots of water usually helps but the withdrawals from xanax also fuck with your head real bad. Just keep in mind that it's the drug making you feel that way and that it's not permanent. My dumb ass cut them out cold turkey, I had seizures and couldn't tell what was real and what wasn't, it was a truly god awful experience and I would not recommend it. To me it was worse than heroin withdrawal. Be easy on yourself if you have relapses too, because being mean to yourself is just gonna make you want more xans, also it's hard af so it's understandable to have slip ups. Do try your hardest to avoid them tho
Super happy for you that you're making the decision to do this!! It's a hard one to make. Xanax fucking suuuuucks for so many reasons, worst addiction I ever had

You are right that's what I do, up the dose on really bad days. On a bad day I can take 10. And I'm starting to feel the effects of it already. Getting forgetful, etc.
man, tapering off benzos is not shits and giggles. definitely go read the Ashton Manual. I can try send you the PDF if you still haven't read it yet. I don't have personal experience with this though. read the manual out of pure curiosity. and I can say it's very comprehensive. loads of positive reviews as well.
just don't rush it. take it slowly. if anything's not feeling quite right (as benzo w/d's often are, like it's just a wrong feeling but soon *everything* is wrong), don't be pushing yourself even more. I know someone who took like 2 years to go from subs 8 four times daily down to a 0.2, I think. that one is with opiates. and you only need to get to a place you're comfortable with. no need to get hung up on abstinence. it's all about making one's own life more stable. and flexibility is a part of that.
prayers for you OP. like many said above the ashton manual is legit. id also recommend to not get into any benzo withdrawal groups, or searching withdrawal symptoms online, reading and thinking of all the withdrawal symptoms makes you feel worse. try to destress as much as possible because stress makes all the symptoms much worse. i recommend epsom salt baths to detox as well as massaging the whole body, using a foam roller for your back and yoga daily to deal with aches and pains. good luck
