I know that this is not about suicide, recovery or anything of said nature, however, I just had to say this somewhere and if not to my family here then where?
I was in Washington D.C. for business from 11.01 till 11.06. When I got to my hotel in cental D.C. on Friday the 1st of November, I was shocked to see all the store fronts being boarded up. A lot of stores were doing this in case of riots after the U.S. elections. I was so shocked to see the boarded-up store and all the cops out and about. I have been to D.C. a lot over the years, and this was the 1st time that I saw stores boarded up and so very many cops out in force, so sad.
Just in case a certain orange face lost the U.S. elections then what? all hell breaks loose?
My side came to the U.S. from Germany, and I had relation that was in Hitler's government and all I can say is I hope and pray that democracy's bright light never quits burning ever. No orange face dictator, no troops on the streets, we are ALL the same and should work together NOT apart ever.
All of the rest of the world should read, and look at how we as a global family here help, treat each other with love and dignity on this site and learn what a true family is all about. Maybe orange face should take some time and read here how to treat folks and live and love TOGETHER
Sorry for the rant, but after what I witnessed in D.C. this past weekend time frame, and that orange face was voted back in, I had to clear my thoughts and also tell everyone here that all of you are so darn loving and kind, thank you!
