Is it me but do you feel there is just too much censorship in general regarding online mental health support communities.
In my experience when I have online mental health support communities I experienced moderators constantly policing what I or other people write.
●On Reddit I used to belong to an eating disorders sub called Eating Disorders Annouymus and on the sub I mentioned that I now use an Amazon locker to get my diet pills delivered to me instead of my house because lack of privacy in my house.
The moderator quickly removed ky posts citing one of the rules banning harmful advice meanwhile on the same sub people posted threads on foods they have been calorie counting, binge eating etc which are all harmful behaviours people with eating disorders are not allowed to do.
● I used to belong to a online depression community called Depression community called Dealing with Depression and the moderator was just a bully who allowed her members to bully me just because I said during lockdown that I wished in lockdown I died from Covid19. She censored a lot of topics too.

I rescently made an account with ED support Forum and I have to wait for my account to be approved by moderators. I read moderator approval takes several days or even longer. If it doesn't get approved in a week I am deleting my account.
How are people supposed to talk freely about their struggles if everything they say keeps getting censored
