I weight about 42 kg (92 lb?) max, the circumference of this rope is 2 cm, i tested and it seems it can take my weight. Does it will work?

Two things it has to do - hold your weight and cut off blood to your brain.

People who use things like curtains and towels are often struggling for a while before they pass out because it does not cut off blood to the brain. My choice is a thin rope similar to what you have that can hold more than double my weight.

I see, the rope does the job then, i have read about people being successful using more simple and weak materials but i am sure unlucky will shine for me if i do the same.

Just tie the rope to your anchor, grab on with your hands and see if it will suspend your entire body weight. I would bounce around and do everything I could to see if it's stable and/or there are any weak points.
