Story This is goodbye

I've been slowly saying goodbye for a while, but today it is time.

There have been many on here who have been supportive and gave me their ear. You'll never know how much it means to me.

On two occasions SI has kicked in. This time I have given myself nowhere to go. I have a few coins in my pocket, a phone, the clothes I'm wearing and a used car. No other belongings, everything has been trashed, donated, sold or just left for people.

I found a place, near water and it is peaceful. There will be no note and to prevent some of the issues I had before, I won't be discussed methods etc.

The last few weeks I've been looking in on things here but not posting as I promised somebody on here who I spoke to on the phone I would try for a month. I think I made it a little more than that, but it hasn't been a life I'm interested in continuing.

I urge all of you who are close to do what I did, give it a little time and take a step away for a while. This has been good for me as it has cemented my decision.

It is so pretty here. I'm less than two miles away from the lady that was the love of my life. I'm just a few feet from water, ducks are everywhere and it is quiet.

This last few minutes the ducks seem to have gotten used to my car and they are keeping a kind of perimeter around the car.

My playlist is keeping me strong, I'm warm and cosy and in the spot I want to be. There will be no livestream or similar and I'm going to sleep now but will be back in here later when closer to the time.

You all give me strength but without judgement and that is what I need.

You're right, it is tough. I have a feeling this time will be easier. I've done a Cortez and burnt my boats for motivation.

Nothing to say, this is my third attempt and I'm ready. Previously there was nerves and I was genuinely scared. This time, it feels like switching on a kettle.

The only reason I haven't done it earlier is I have a significant time later today, I'm just waiting for that. My last food was Saturday evening, my last sleep Sunday morning. I want to rest now, get some sleep. I'd wanted to eat before but really just don't want to.
