• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Really. When I need to pick my "favourites" I always go for the ones that suck less, not "what I like more".

However... Since I'm a bit lazy today I'd add my top 5 for movies

1. Mulholland Drive by David Lynch
2. Ai No Mukidashi by Shion Sono
3. 8 1/2 by Federico Fellini
4. Scarface by Brian de Palma
5. Her by Spike Jonze

I saw few movies in my life. Because any of them can keep my attention more than half hour and this make me lose more inrerest in them.

To be honest before reaching my actual depression levels I wasn't interested in almlst anything. Only in some videogames, but today this doesn't work any longer.

The lack of interest I have in everything it's a curse and anhedonia only makes everything harder.

thx for the new word "anhedonia". Reality makes me depressed so i escape to reality, but i can only hide for long.

Yes, actually I've seen pretty much all of his filmography, except for his lost early works. I thought that he had let go of a bit of his unremarkable experimental touch in the last movies, but Antiporno proved me wrong. He's still the same quirky filmmaker we have known about.

How did your playthrough of "I want to be the justice guy" turn out to be? I need to search for more "korean abominations" as you called them, lol

korean abominations
That was a bit exaggerated, it's not so bad.

A true "abomination" would be I wanna kill the kamilia 3, search a speedrun and enjoy.

The shorter time made are 3 hours so you have fun for a long time!

these arent my favourites , but they may be a bit left field for some ... you may like them ...

oscar peterson , errol garner ( gemini is THE album ) and art tatum ( goodbye )are the big three jazz pianists

fats waller is the funniest and darkest - genius.

german requiem by brahms is a real soul scorcher .

i like michael nyman and his saxophone minimalist stuff

faves

the cure
america
bowie
dylan
cohen

movies

"happiness is in the field' ( french , so title is wrong ) staggeringly funny to me .

catch 22 of course . actual live action ... no sfx

hair (1979)

donny darko ( standard i guess ... blew me away on first seeing it )

beatlejuice .

I'm showing my age , but meh , it is what it is .

movies used to be huge events ,

the anticipation and exulted satisfaction on seeing 'alien' at the movies in 1981' ish ... really never has been equaled.
obviosly just personal , but the movie industry has bloated ,

i guess its games now that are big events .

edit to add

fritz the cat

michael clayton

there ... eleventyseven of my five faves ....
