• If you haven't yet, we highly encourage you to check out our Recovery Resources thread!
  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

so I haven't posted here in a bit because I was in the hospital after I told my roommates I was suicidal. Stayed there for a bit and eventually started receiving ect. It's not actually that bad tbh worst part is the iv and the headache and muscle aches after. it helped me to get out of the super dark pit I was in and I didnt even have rly bad memory issues.

now I'm living at a new temporary housing place and taking a bunch of meds that maybe help but tbh it might've been more the ect. Were lowering my dosage and I honestly want to see how I can do without them. I also want to try out low doses of psilocybin because I heard those can be effective for treating depression so if anyone has any experience with that I'd like to have info about it. That's about it idk I just felt like updating ppl here especially because ect kind of gets a bad wrap so I thought maybe everyone would be more interested in a positive perspective

:-)

We are here for you. Glad you are doing better.
Takes time to find the right dose , years usually, since most medications need several months to get comparable results.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Glad to hear you're doing better. Was actually considering trying ECT for my Cotard's. Heard it was helpful. I'm just concerned about going inpatient. I don't want to do that again.
