Yeah, I grew up in Los Angeles for 25 years, and I'm surprised I survived. Washington seems nice, though, I hear there is a lot of rain, which I don't do well with. Luckily, I moved to Utah in Spring and plan to CTB soon. I'm fine with missing Winter in Utah.

You really wouldn't think so. Washington is a beautiful state. Truly gorgeous. Loads of rain though haha but if you're a native, you get used to it. Honestly though you would think California would be higher. Taxed out the ass. Nickel and dime every cent you make. Inflated property taxes. Insane costs of rent. Boring. Nothing to look at besides beaches. No greenery except in like 2 areas of the entire state. Whenever I ask people why they like California, they give me no other answer besides the weather. This states a boring shithole with pretty beaches and a consistently warm climate. Sorry for the rant lol

Please, rant away. As a native California, there is stuff I miss, however the traffic is awful and as you mentioned, it's super expensive. Lacks greenery. Lots of crazy people.

What I liked about California were the amusement parks like Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Hurricane Harbor. But I'm too broke to be able to do those now anyway.
