So, finally, I found a medical tourniquet. Should I just secure and lock it around my neck, just below jaw?

I think that I will tighten it until I start feeling dizzy and then quickly lock it.

Tourniquet will make me unconscious, so I won't experience drowning.
Ligature/cords didn't compress my carotid arteries at all so I will try tourniquet

Just an FYI, there was a user here who claimed they survived the tourniquet method and sustained pretty significant brain damage from hypoxia. Just wanted you to be well-informed.

It is something like this

Thanks so much for letting me know.

Yes, I understand that there are risks. People get stroke, eye stroke, paralysis by trying to compress carotid arteries by hanging, or other asphyxiation methods. Restricting blood flow to brain is extremely dangerous:surviving with disability

Unrelated, but I even read that someone inhaled butane gas and after a few hours, he suddenly lost control of right legs. Paralysis.

I plan to maximize the chances of my ctb by doing the following:

1. Doing tourniquet method at sea, so just in case I break my trachea, end up with severe damage while alive, I will lose consciousness and fall into sea.

2. I will do it morning, why ? Because at morning sea temperature is something like 20 Celsius, I get fever if water temperature is below 30C. So, hypothermia will also help me ctb
3. Before doing tourniquet method while at sea, I may hyperventilate and inhale some butane, and maybe even inhale some water, to damage myself. The weaker my health, the more chances tourniquet + drowning method will be effective. All of this will greatly decrease chances of rescue by other people

4. Completely optional, but I seriously consider swallowing something to block my windpipes. Just in case someone saves me, they can immediately remove water from my lungs, expose me to oxygen and reduce butane gas inside my lungs, remove tourniquet etc.
But they can't easily remove stuff (maybe candies + sand) stuck on my windpipes, they will need to transport me to hospital to save me from choking. It will take at least 30 minutes
Immediately after swallowing candies I will apply tourniquet (If I test it and it works. All i need is to test it, but today i was very busy. I will update my post after i test it). no need to choke for 3 horrible minutes until i die. Tourniquet will ensure i lose consciousness in just 10 seconds, while hyperventilation will ensure i won't experience severe air hunger very soon during choking
Feel free to write a reply. I hope my method is good enough

A little bit complicated with severe risks of ending up alive with stroke or paralysis due to messing with arteries, but very deadly (choking + drowning + carotid artery asphyxiation+hypothermia) and painless (if tourniquet works, if i am able to compress carotid arteries)
