So my understanding is that I couldnt use a car, because there isn't enough CO2 generated. Could a generator do it though?

A woman was sent to jail for encouraging her boyfriend to put a small gererator in the cab of his pickup, fire it up and die.
Pickup cabs have a small volume.

I think it would be more efficient to use the generator in a smaller space, also. Also, it would be wise to make sure the generator you use doesn't have a CO monitor safety device that shuts down the generator when a too high a level of CO is detected.
