Hello,

I am trying to permanently change background color of message in chat when pinged because in dark mode it's a strain on the eyes.
I read that uBlock can do that with Element Picker and then it adds element to My Filters list where you can modify it but I don't know how.

Here is CSS code that is responsible for text background color:

.siropuChatMention {
background: #ffe4b5;
border-radius: 5px;
padding: 5px;
}

And this is element that is added to My Filters:

sanctioned-suicide.net##.js-lbContainer.siropuChatMention.siropuChatMessageRow

Anyone knows how to connect these things together and create a code that modifies background color?

Thanks

It's just changing the color palette, you don't need to modify the CSS directly

Yes, only this: background: #ffe4b5; but I don't know how to accomplish this in uBlock.

Change the default yellow background in dark theme to something dark that would contrast between white text and dark silver background. Black background would work. I can't read messages that are pinged at me on PC and smartphone:
