• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I'm considering Vehicular Suicide as an option soon. Wondering methods thoughts and how to die on impact with a pole or something.

It's a very risky method. It's almost impossible to crash in a way that causes certain death, and if you survive there's a strong chance that you end up severely injured, in agonizing pain, massive medical bills, legal issues, etc...

The problem is that modern vehicles are designed to protect the occupants. You'll have crumple zones and airbags absorbing the impact. If you're determined you could disable some of those features, but the car chassis itself is still designed to protect you.

There's also the problem that roads are designed to prevent fatal collisions with obstacles. Anything big and sturdy that cars could hit will usually be surrounded by guard rails or barriers designed to deflect the vehicle gradually.

It certainly is possible to die from hitting a pole, I have a friend who died that way. He was drunk and not wearing a seat belt. The driver was also drunk and not wearing a seat belt, but he survived. There are too many random factors in car accidents to make it a viable method of ctb.

On the news it is routine to see video of a stolen car full of people in a horrible high speed crash. Car parts flying everywhere. Spinning, flipping chaos. Then 5 people crawl out and run like the wind.

Possibly cars are being made too safe!

Might not work.

There's an older guy that tried this by driving a truck off a sharp turn that had a decent drop off road.

He went in fast, flew off the road and slammed into trees.

He suffered minor wounds, his truck is totalled, and insurance doesn't cover that kinda thing. Wasn't a success.

Another guy drove his ATV off a fairly high drop. It took awhile to find him, but the ATV was totaled, and he broke his back. He was told he likely would not walk again. He is however after months able to walk with crutches. So he got lucky. He might not regain full strength, but he can walk.

These are two examples that happened within a year. Neither worked, and honestly I would've thought for sure they would.

One that did work involved a 20 year old driving drunk with friends. He was going too fast in a rural area and lost control. Went off road and hit a tree. He died, passengers lived. I hear he was impaled, but I can't know for sure. Its fairly recent so no details, just rumors.

I'd say its by no means a guarantee.

You'd probably have better luck tying a rope to a tree and driving away full tilt, thus yanking your head off.

Been there done that and totaled two cars without managing to seriously harm myself. Believe me I tried!

People survive serious car accidents all the time, usually coming out with devastating lifelong consequences. Unless you can drive your car off a canyon height, I wouldn't risk it.

Vehicle suicide is probably at the bottom of the list of ways I would like to go. Modern cars are notoriously safe.

You would need a car from the 1980s or earlier to have a shot. Funnily enough a Tesla (especially a cyber truck) wouldn't be a bad option either

Any EV is a bad option because any space you would have for the engine is practically all dedicated to passenger protection. 1980s or earlier, find one with 0 active safety and as little passive safety and do a small car like a sedan. Don't hit it in the center, try to hit a tree or a barrier so that it's contacting only a foot of width

I agree. Modern cars make it very difficult! On the other hand if you get an old '60s car and don't put on a seatbelt and crash into a telephone pole, good chance you'll kill yourself. And if you do it in a cybertruck if the impact doesn't kill you the fire will. But I don't recommend this method at all!

1.19 million deaths per year on the roads worldwide. If you crash into a wall at 150 km per hour, the wall wins. Deactivate airbags and remove seat belts. I should find the right straight and the wall.

I see. The big reason I mentioned a cyber truck is because they have not been tested for safety. Based on the design, it doesn't seem very safe either. That being said; I'm not an ev expert, and you probably know more than me.

Still would give pause to this method though.

Some local lads hit a telegraph pole at such a speed in a Toyota hilux that it looked like a cartoon crumple car. The front was essentially on the back seat.
It can be done but wouldn't recommend.
I've seen crashed on the motorway where barriers stop for an overpass and a truck or car has gone into the side at high speed and there wasn't much left. To do this though it would probably need to be in the dead of night and minimal traffic so that you don't cause a crash with someone else too
