• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

Has anyone here ever been to or knows about Wainhouse Tower in West Yorkshire in the UK? I'm looking for places to jump and this place seems good but I'm not sure if they have nets and fences blocking you or not from jumping. Does anyone have any info on this.

I also get varied results when looking up it's height so I'm not sure if it's high enough or not. I think it is but I'd like to be sure before I try and I can't go regularly and see as they only open some days a year and you have to book a ticket to go up

It's very impressive. Hard to tell what safety precautions they'd have. I'd imagine there would at least be a guide at the top though. Quite possibly a volunteer. Personally, I would avoid jumping in front of other people if I could. There would bound to be a small group I imagine. Not to mention, you may land on someone or, next to someone at the bottom. I do understand people's desperation but I suppose I wince at the thought of people having to witness that.

Its an impressive but ugly structure, at 276 feet, nobody would survive a fall from there, and no suicide attempts have ever been recorded there--At 369 steps, it would be an effort just to climb up there

True. I guess I never thought about that. I wouldn't want anyone to suffer because of me.
