• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

I have my method in mind (firearm) and know what I am going to do (specifics and what not), however, I am still waiting for that right moment as well as tying loose ends.

Timing and biding my time
As far as the timing is concerned, here is a little information on my current situation. Things were heightened between the owner (who I am renting from) and my roommates. I am waiting on things to cool down as well as getting them to believe that things aren't really bad in my life (so they are much less likely to suspect anything if I make any moves or act on my plan) and that things are going well. I think (especially the people who know me) that if I were to take action (e.g. buying a firearm) soon after things were heated, it would not only get suspicious and raise a red flag, it would also be much harder to justify/have an alibi for doing what I do.

Therefore, I am thinking of giving it some extra time before I do anything with my plan so it doesn't give off red flags (especially after I already had some arguments with them (not regarding suicide/death but other day-to-day matters) and their vigilance is still high). Of course, I plan to never let them find out about owning the firearm, but the reason for being thorough is just in case I need an alibi/easier to explain if the need arises.

I have also considered writing a note, and I'm still working on finding a good length as well as what content there should be on there. I know I don't owe anyone any explanations (not that it would matter much as I'm dead and I have no control over their reactions/beliefs - not even when I am alive, so even less when I'm dead), but I guess if I can allow some closure for the people I love and like, push for some bigger change in pro-choice legislation (or at least change some minds or raise important points with my death), expose the problems of society, etc., then that's a bonus. I will discuss about the contents of a note in another thread as I don't want to make this post longer than it already is.

Does anyone else bide their time until the timing is right?
