I believe that we are on this planet, interacting with each other to learn lessons. We have all felt that "breakthrough" feeling when you learn a lesson. For example: about love, letting things go, forgiving, understanding where you come from. It's almost like you shed something negative from your soul and you are able to see through fresh eyes. At least in that very moment, the weight of the situation seems to diminish and you feel a relief. I believe that this is how you learn to really live a happy and fulfilling life. I also believe that this is how humans evolve; it is our soul that evolves and everything that happens to us happens so that we can learn as much as we can (if we understand correctly).
When we die I believe that we take all the experiences that our soul learns and unite to a single source where we get to experience what everyone has gone through. I get to understand what my family/friends have gone through dealing with me, I even get to understand and feel what you have all been through. I don't believe in re-incarnation in the sense where this exact soul comes back. I just think we go through a period where we get to feel nothing and everything at the same time, not experiencing being hungry, lonely, or scared, until some of the characteristics of our soul get mixed with characteristics of other souls and then thrown out into the universe again. Rinse and repeat, each iteration's destiny being to learn new lessons.
Not sure how suicide fits into all of this, I think it all just ends... It's like the only way to end it all, forever... I'm kind of scared of that... I guess the question is: what do you think happens when you die and does the act of suicide change what happens?
