What's a fun little thing you like to do in your free time? The little things you enjoy in life? It could be anything. Personally, I have a fondness for modding my Windows 10 PC and adding plugins to give it that authentic Windows 7 experience, because it reminds me of being a kid again. It's like decorating a room, but absolutely free. I also downloaded a bunch of little extras as you can see here -- Winamp stuff, the old gadgets, the calculator, the classic games and everything. I'm still adding more to this day. I've also got the old icons, taskbar, sound effects, start menu and everything. My Discord is modded to look like Windows Live Messenger. I also recently got into the habit of collecting torrents for anime fansubs -- not necessarily related to Windows 7, but that's also mostly a thing of the past nowadays.

Also, bit of a side note, but I'm horrible at card games and I always rage playing Hearts on this thing. But it's still fun.

I like to play songs on the kazoo, all video game music since that's mostly all I know. I wish I could share some low quality recordings I made but they give my identity away too easily so I won't but my friends say I'm pretty good with it.

It's that time of year. I'll keep it vague in this public thread to avoid doxxing but I've got some old friends in a fantasy football league and we're way over the top with it, including weekly video updates. Seriously whatever you're imagining it's probably more. I don't even watch pro football it's just a fun game for us.

I take what I learn from myself and and books I read to create art that would make no sense to anyone who saw it. Learning to express myself through creating art rather than doing it to impress people has changed my life.

Those hobbies are so cool! I've always wanted to pick up EGL and lolita fashion. Maybe once I have a source of income... I'm getting back into anime but still don't read as much manga as I should. What are your favorite shoujo manga? I'll add them to my MAL plan to read list :D

It's called AeroChat if you're interested. You can download it at https://aerochat.live/. It's still very limited compared to the standard Discord client though, like you can't even view images (though you can view the links) or view emojis or reactions yet, but I think the simplicity of this client is a double-edged sword. I personally hate how Discord insists on adding updates that only bloat their platform, and I miss when it wasn't so overcomplicated. I never join huge servers anymore for that reason.

Love the fumos and your lil Hachune Miku! Also pretty cool that we both like Monster Zero. While I will admit I'm probably not as huge as a Touhou aficionado as you are, I have a Patchy fumo :) I also collect a lot of fumo-style plushies from the same company that manufactures fumos. They may not have the exact same style of eyes/faces but still pretty similar when it comes to construction. I have one of Hitagi Senjougahara from Monogatari, which is a pretty new favorite of mine. I also have the Nendoroid Plus plushies of Hatsune Miku and Kagamine Rin since Vocaloid has always been very close to my heart. My dream Gift plush is probably the Homura Akemi one. I might also get Yukari and Reisen fumos someday. The Patchy, Rin and Miku plushes are currently in storage since I'm moving soon, but here is my Hitagi :3

I'm a Wikipedia editor. Mostly I do minor tasks (copy editing for grammar, rewording sentences, undoing vandalism, etc.), but every so often I'll do larger projects like creating new articles.

I'm somewhat new to the hobby but I've been set on it since. I actually have a really nice Nazrin one coming in soon that I'm super hyped about!!

Ive been feeling a bit like a husk lately so I haven't been indulging in any worthwhile hobbies and honestly i can't even remember most of the stuff I enjoyed X.X I liked reading a lot though. All sorts of stuff too like books & comics & manga & visual novels. My favorite is hunting down niche & independently published stuff like zines and webstories

I really wanted to get into collecting robot figurines, but I ended up only falling in love with a couple of mecha series:

(Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (10/10 light hearted)

and

Neon Genisis Evangelion (10/10 soulcrushing **SA Waring**))

One of my hobbies was Pokemon and I took the "gotta catch 'em all" to heart shit was rough on gameboy, but I have almost a complete pokedex in every generation of game (with the remastered versions), and I'm working on trying to have a complete dex in every single game.

That's such an awesome gunpla collection, I'm jealous! Are those things hard to put together? They'd probably be a nightmare for a person like me tbf. I've been meaning to start collecting scale figures :D Gundam is also something I want to get into at some point

Impeccable taste. NGE by itself is pretty good but EOE really sells the series as a masterpiece. Still need to watch the rebuilds, though I've heard mixed opinions about them. I plan to watch Gurren Lagann very soon, love stuff that came out in the 2000s in general, but I've got a pretty long way to go. Speaking of mecha, Code Geass is currently in my rotation. I am still relatively new to anime. What generation of Pokémon is your favorite, as someone who's played em all?

They're not so bad, if you take your time and read the directions. There are loads of different qualities, so you could start with a smaller / easier kit and see how it goes. There are a lot of pre-made figures too, if assembling them isn't your thing.

I personally was really satisfied with the Rebuilds. They are different, and don't give the exact same experience, of course, but it's a hell of a ride. (Actually I'd say 2 and 4 scratch the itch for me pretty well.) Plus new Utada songs with each one! Had a marathon of all four with my best man recently, as I had not seen the 4th and he hadn't seen any. I was really, really happy with the ending. I thought it was a great send-off.

I agree with the bloating of discord, actually, the bloating of everything. I've read an article some time ago about how websites today are much more laggy and less optimized than they were 10 years ago. Have worked in Web dev and can confirm, it's just a mess.

My hobbies include playing the sims 2 and making some small websites for myself.

I made my own town in the sims 2, all the houses and community lots as well as all the sims and their stories. I've been playing that save for a long time now.

As for the websites, I made one for my paintings and another one for keeping track of my hamsters health. They're not online, just an html file I double click and I have access to them. I like that they're only for me. I'd love to share them but I think they'd give too much of myself away.

strangest hobby (and definitely a product of my ocd but let's not address that) is reading wikipedia pages. i have 181 currently open on my phone alone. plus a few hundred more on my desktop.

does the knowledge stick? ehhh sometimes yes sometimes no. but it's a compulsive Need to Know and occasionally i come across some really fun information so i can't complain.
