Discussion What is your last meal?

I know that some methods require fasting, but what will you be eating before then.
Personally having a large last meal feels like too much work. I don't like food that much anyways. I'll have my favorite shrimp chips before starting my fast.
What's yours?

Food has been such a pleasure and a curse for me in life. But right now I don't get that much out of it. I don't really think I'll be in the mood.

Probably some salmon sushi or homemade steak. Who cares about eating parasites when I'll be gone before they can hurt me

Oooooh shrimp chips are so good!! Honestly I don't want my last meal to be something really appealing to me since I worry I'll just want to binge more food and not go through with it. Maybe pizza and some chocolate the night before. Nothing the day of.

My mom's soup, or a chicken burrito from my local burrito joint. I've been pretty addicted to both and I wouldn't mind either being my last meal.

I've been preparing for awhile and have just been eating all the last things I want to eat as I am continuing to prepare. I remember asking people what their death row last meal would be and people thought I was crazy so now I'm wondering if it shows how much I think about death. So anyway, I always thought McDonald's burger and fries and chocolate milkshake. I think that would make my stomach hurt and I don't want to feel sicker than I need to the day before and of so at some point I want that meal - but probably not from McDonald's. Not sure what day before and day of yet.

Planned my final meal last week and it would be: Roast beef flavoured Monster Munch crisps (though im vegetarian); some marshmellows and hand full of jellybeans... and for drink i am having coffee and later Cherry Coca Cola....

Honestly I don't want my last meal to be something really appealing to me since I worry I'll just want to binge more food and not go through with it.

I feel this so much. Good food is one of the precious few things left that I enjoy, and if I did set a date and choose to eat something absolutely delicious beforehand, I suspect I'll end up in the kitchen rather than the morgue. Finding the will to actually cook is certainly becoming more and more rare. But on the days where I do eat something that speaks to me, deep down, it's kind of like a very good band-aid for my being, with painkillers built into it, or something. Doesn't last long, but it really is special.

To answer the original question: probably something Italian. Pizza, pasta, risotto: I'm not sure. I like an eggplant, artichoke and spinach pizza. I also have a beetroot and kale risotto I love. And a well-made aglio e olio can't be beaten. Gelato afterwards wouldn't hurt. Aperol Spritz for good measure. What I would give for the strength to go buy groceries and cook something.
