  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

The thing that keeps me going is video games. Not just video games but just Nintendo in general. So many happy and nostalgic moments that I've had when it came to playing their games. I love PlayStation and their games but nothing holds the candle on what Nintendo can do. It's just my opinion and yours can be different too, like PC gaming on how that brought you great times.

I love Pokémon, Mario, Zelda, and Metroid. All of it is so amazing and makes me smile on every time I play those franchises.

Nothing will ever beat the original Mario Party series and the first two Paper Mario games. They were for sure amazing and I haven't played the newest Paper Mario game yet but I do feel like playing it eventually down the road. I hope the Mario remasters are real and I would so love to play Mario 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy on the Switch again remastered. I'm also hyped for Breath of The Wild 2.

That's what keeps me going in life at times when I ever feel down and sad. Just the part in me that will always be a gamer.

A Nintendo gamer.

I also like Nintendo a lot, I grew up with their video games, Nintendo games have a special care.

In my case I do not have a Nintendo Switch and I do have PS4, I like video games in general, but Nintendo makes me very homesick.

first console was a Super Nintendo. Pokemon was a staple for many years. even my first Final Fantasy was on a Nintendo console.

video games helped me when I was growing up, but other than a few exceptions I don't play them too often anymore. I just don't have the motivation.

Nostalgia indeed. I've never really played video games except for back in the 1980's in the arcade era, which many games of time were made by Nintendo.

But I agree that a video game of an era would emotionally take one back to that era, if only for a little while. And under the current state of affairs of the World, it certainly makes sense—any video game of an era that was better than today.

I was a mall rat in the 80s! I spent hours and so many quarters playing all the "high tech" games LOL. I remember a golf game I was obsessed with and I loved anything driving-related (maybe that's why driving relaxes me haha). Do you remember "Starcade," the arcade game show? :haha:

There are a few places in Europe that have these arcade games—where one pays a flat fee and can use any of these games all night.

Oh, that would be fun! Sadly, I don't think there are many in Canada

A Google search might help. But with regards to arcade games, there is more them then the game—it's the whole experience of a saner era of days past.
