• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

My ctb date is coming around. I live in area where there's forest preserves around. The thickest I am looking at is a 2-5 mile radius. I want the scavengers to eat my dead body before people find me. With rescue dogs in mind, is this a safe bet?

Hmm, isn't 2-5 mile radius huge? Like a very huge tree? That's like more than 1km diameter, isn't it? I believe such huge tree is sturdy enough to support your mass. Don't take my word for it though. I might be wrong.

Why do you think rescue dogs will be involved later? Do people know you will go to the woods?

I meant the radius of the density of the forest, my bad.

Are there usually people in the woods? Are there many hiking trails? How far away from the trails can you get?

This is a good point. If someone knows you are in the forest (i.e. if they found your car parked nearby), I don't think cadaver dogs would have much trouble finding you.

This is s dumb question. Woods should be thick enough so people can't easily spot you. There is no need for a scientific answer for the radius of woods, that is ridiculous. Go where people won't expect you or see you

It's not a dumb question. It's more technical.

It's a hiking area but if you go off track it leads to thick preserves. I am going to try to go as far as 2-3 miles in or when there's no phone service.I may end up going with my bike.

Depending on where you live, if you have a national Forest nearby, it's easy to go deep into them and not be found.

I have considered going to Virginia on the western side of the state to the Great Smokey Mountains where the forests are endless.

The thing with national parks is that i have heard they check ID.

Never had my ID checked unless I'm renting a campsite, but it's easy to enter without being seen if the forest is large enough.

That is very comforting to hear. I have several parks in mind within the state.

I've never been checked for id either. I had id checked when I was hiking the Appalachian Trail, other than that, you should be able to walk into woods without being spotted.
