I've kind of been geeking out on reality for the purpose of escaping reality. Been listening to quite a few talks on the implications to consciousness and free will in light of scientific reality indicating that we live in a deterministic world that follows a strong principle of causality.

Oh that's great to find someone who understands how shitty is life. An inherently lone consciousness trapped in life, all faces and looks doesn't describe consciousness, and many other things so we basically live a lie. But probably it doesn't matter because there is no free will and everything is just deterministic and we have no real control at all

I've watched a lot of movies lately, had a shit ton of pain these last two days, watching movies distracts me a bit. As for series, been watching Continuum on Netflix, Fear The Walking Dead, that's interesting,more so than the main show atm, mainly waiting for all my favourites to come back on. I don't know how many of them I will ever get to see though, ideally I'd like to be gone by Christmas, which is usually when most of them come back on, between now and Christmas. I watch tons though, I lost the ability to get into stories in the acute days of my Benzo withdrawal, I could not follow anything, I could not concentrate, then this ability came back, it was like a fog had lifted, I binged on so much shit TV lol, it was great to feel it again and not forget the plot after 5 minutes.

The News.
It's a helluva plot with many twists and turns. Not sure how many episodes there have been so far but it seems to have run for years. The main plot is an ongoing dispute involving a russian, an american and a little fellow from far away who may or may not have some secret bombs. The best bit is at the end of each episode somebody says what tomorrows weather will be.

I'm reading the One Piece full color manga as of the moment whenever I have to occupy myself during boring situations or while waiting. I started watching the anime several years ago and when I got to the point where I am now(Episode 522,the beginning of the time-skip),I've noticed I've forgotten a whole lot of details. (I often had to take breaks from One Piece given how long it is) Rather than trying to re-watch the old episodes,I decided to re-experience the series via the manga instead when I learned there's a full color version of it with English translation. (Not as good as Viz,but good enough)
so far,so good. Its much faster paced than the anime indeed.I plan to return to the anime once I finish up the colored manga till the beginning of time-skip part.

If visual novels count,I'm playing Fate/Stay Night. (Replaying actually. I played this visual novel several years ago and am now returning to it now that's its been updated significantly.)I've finished the Fate route and Unlimited Blade Works route and now I'm about to start the final route of this long but very enjoyable VN,the Heavens Feel route. I'm a little hesitant to start this final route because my circumstances aren't ideal and may impede my enjoyment. I really wish I was having a vacation so I can enjoy this to the fullest,but oh well. I really should start it soon.

I plan to watch the Steins;Gate 0 anime as soon as its finished and all episodes dubbed. (Anime dub watcher here)
I read the visual novel of it several months ago and its great.

The video game(not visual novel)I'm playing right now is an old underrated PS2 game called "Disaster Report." (via the emulator PCSX2)
While its story is nothing special,I find it a real interesting game,I already got 3 of the endings and am playing to get the rest.
