I am trying to recover, as I'd like to have a life with my fiancé and move on from all of this. I will admit it's not easy, my original ctb date is in 2 days.

My question here is what should I do with my SN if I am no longer going to be using it? I don't want to just dispose of it as it's definitely dangerous and I'd prefer it not end up somewhere that wild animals can pick at and possibly ingest it.

Thanks for your time! x

recovery is definitely not easy, but you are really brave for doing this, i'm glad to hear that you want to give life another chance and wish you the best of luck.

and as for your question, i'm not a chemist and i've read some conflicting answers; but it seems like you can just flush it if you have small quantities of it, just carefully dissolve it in water first. this is a dangerous chemical, but remember that it has many uses in the food industry, this is one of the chemicals that give red meat its color after all.
and if you have a lot of it you may consider taking it to some hazardous waste disposal plant in your area, but it may be difficult in these quarantine times.

I think you could re-purpose it, sell it, or you could find a waste collection center in your area.

Dispose bit by bit, SN isn't lethal in trace quantities.

Mail it to me. LOL.

On the real, my friend, I'm so glad you decided to see how things go for now, thanks for hanging around!
Put it in a bag with coffee grounds and take it to the landfill? Used coffee grounds, I think. I only say this because where I work, there's a poster that says to put old medications in a bag with grounds and dispose of them in the trash. Kitty litter works, too. It makes it unappealing to children and animals, and makes it unrecognizable for "dumpster divers".. Best of luck to ya.

Thank you all for your responses!!!

It's a hard decision to make, honestly. Living is a lot harder than I had assumed but I want a life and future with my fiancé and I want to see what good can happen as we face the world as a team.
