• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

i contacted dmc about being an interested customer but heard people have had trouble hearing back from him and getting packages stuck in customs?

im not sure what to say to this, is this the normal welcome message and theyre normally careful like this or are they being extra suspicious around SN? what do i say, has anyone else had this?

Do you have to message him per whatsapp to order? Or is ordering through their website good enough? Sorry I'm asking a question on top of yours..!

I'd guess you tell him you're ordering to cure meats. I had zero interaction throughout my ordering process and never said anything so I didn't have to deal with this.

I would guess that that is their normal message. They are fully aware of what a large portion (or all?) of their customers are acquiring SN for, and they're probably trying to avoid being investigated or prosecuted for it by "ensuring" that you're getting it for the proper purpose of curing meats or making sausages or whatever. Just say you want to make cured meats at home. Don't over-explain because that will make you look suspicious. SN is legitimately used for this purpose of course, and is very difficult to acquire these days, so I'm sure they have some share of legitimate customers.

i believe you can do either, but due to all the discreet shipping i think people like to be in contact to find out what's happening with their packages and all that!

It's very easy to buy curing salt (typically ~95% sodium chloride, 5% sodium nitrite). For instance, it is available on Amazon.

Curing salt is not suitable for suicide, but there is no reason why a meat preservation enthusiast would prefer chemical-grade SN over curing salt. Everyone buying from DMC is doing so for suicidal purposes, but DMC wants a fig leaf.
