• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I have a appointment with a psychiatrist tomorrow to talk about my sleep medicine. I take 25 mg of queatipine to sleep normally but it doesnt work anymore. What is the best things to say to try and get benzos? my life turned for the worst again and i really need benzos for my ctb kit. I am known there for having suicidal thoughts and attempt. Also its in The Netherlands if that matters.

Give an acute reason for having panic attacks in recent times. You want to make it sound like you have an important project be at school or work that you need to get through and need some temporary help. If it doesn't work on the psychiatrist. It'll most definitely work on a primary care doctor.

(I swear I've made an art form of finessing my way through the medical system by this point)

Agreed with innereye, some reason for extreme temporary stress is good. They are very hesitant to prescribe it for long-term usage. When i got prescribed it the first time, i was involuntarily shaking like a freak in the appointment, and said that i had been like that for a few days so i couldnt get solid sleep, which was true, but i guess that's hard to fake

Look up "generalized anxiety disorder" then present the Dr with those symptoms. You can tell them you've taken them before with success. It's not a great big deal, as benzos aren't that heavy of a drug 🌹💔

Benzos are pretty heavy lol, they're pretty rarely prescribed in the UK now because of the abuse potential and you can get seriously addicted to them.

Try saying casually 'I've got a friend who had sleeping problems. They prescribed Metatop (lormetazepam) to him and it's helped him.'

I'm taking quetiapine (300 mg) myself, but that's because of bipolar type 1. I always have a problem when people are prescribed Seroquel (quetiapine) as a sleeping aid. Primary, it was sold as an 'atypical antipsychotic' for bipolar, schizophrenia, ... and it was told it would have less side-effect than the so-called classic antipsychotics (Haldol, Clopixol, ...). This is only party true; they just have other side-effects.

Then they discovered it made people sleepy and before you know it AstraZeneca (the same ones from the covid vaccine) had it approved as a sleeping aid. KA$$A! KA$$A! zeggen we hier dan in Vlaanderen. It dazzles the mind, because when AZ explained how it works, they stated it blocks certain neurotransmitters by "closing" certain neuroreceptors. In short: it fucks your brain up. Do you really want to take something like that as a sleeping aid!?

Also, I recently read about some Dutch laws about driving: if you're going to take benzos on a daily basis, then you're not permitted to drive.
