  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

What's something you always really wanted to do for yourself but were too scared to try, but you finally attempted?

What changed from before?

I dumped a very no-nonsense unsanitized summary of my difficulties on a doctor when they questioned an inconsistency in my behaviour and as luck would have it they got me a psychologist. It's yet to bear fruit; one year of just in depth psychological assessment and we'll be moving onto treatment soon. I don't know if that counts as particularly brave for most people, but it was for me? I get really worried that if I'm honest I'll get sent to a psych ward, and I've had bad experiences with doctors in the past pretty much giving me random pills because they don't know what to do about mental illness, friends and family aren't understanding, etc., so I kind of learned opening up about stuff is dangerous, but doing so again turned out to be the right decision.
