• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

In the movie Soylent Green, voluntary euthanasia is perfectly legal and on demand. What you do is you walk into one of the centers. They then ask your favorite color and music. You are then taken to a room which turns whatever color you pick. It has a bed in the middle and a screen in front. Then they have you lie down give you something to drink which I assume is a painless poison. You then spend the last 20 minutes of your life watching beautiful images of nature while listening to whatever type of music you like. What would your choices be? Red was my favorite color as a kid. But I think it would be too intense. I'll go with what one of my sisters said Light Blue. I'd listen maybe to Beethoven and Bach.

My favorite color is periwinkle, I love all shades of it. I'd probably listen to Boats and Birds by Gregory & the Hawk, it's my partner's favorite song.

I loved Soylent Green, such an interesting film.

I'd go with maybe a Royal blue probably; classical music like in Sol's scene would be perfect.

I'd say any shade of pink, and I'd listen to pop music from the 2000s probably anything from Nelly Furtado, sometimes I feel like I should've been in my 20s in 2006 instead of now lol

My favorite color is green, so I'd be happy with whatever nature shit they show me. For music, maybe some of the acoustic guitar songs in Robert Spurling's Catalyst?

Well it would be many different colors on the screen because they show horses in a field, The Sea, A sunset at shore etc. But you need to pick a color to light up the room.

Ah, I see. I've never seen the film, so I was kinda going off of what you described.

Still, green lighting is cool I guess lol

Blue and a song from We Must Become The Pitiless Censors of Ourselves by John Maus, my favourite album, whose cover is my profile picture.

The color is turquoise green and the music can be Carl Orff, Carmina Burana, for example.

My favourite colour is deep burgundy red, and I'd probably listen to anything by Pink Floyd, preferably the Dark Side of the Moon album or The Division Bell.

My favourite colour is purple, my favourite band is "Type O Negative", and their favourite colour was green, so green it is, and I'll listen to "Love you to death" and "Black No. 1" & possibly "Christian Woman" while wearing my hair loose and wearing my leather trench coat. I want to go out with style.

I guess white would be a good colour for this kind of thing.

I couldn't listen to music, it makes me too emotional. I have deliberately avoided music for a while because it makes me so sad. Listening to it whilst I'm taking my last breaths would make me panic and desperately sad. I plan to avoid all music on the day I kill myself.

I've always loved the color blue. The Cure Disintegration would be a good pick I think.

i'd be ok with just some ambient music and i like purple so i guess i'd like to see a video of the cosmos. it can have lots of purple (maybe it doesn't and it's just the way we capture images) idk but it'd be nice. like i'm leaving this planet. i wouldn't want to see nature or hear any normal music cus it'd make me feel too sad about leaving and maybe change my mind. but this would feel different. like i have no attachments to the images of the cosmos. and no thoughts when i listen to ambient. just calm. and i wish we had this irl. truly why does anyone care if i live or die. if i don't like it. should i be forced to? it feels like a prison planet

I'd probably have to go with Eggplant purple and If You Come Into My Heart by Jo Duck Bai. If I want to relax I need music in other languages or classical music otherwise I find myself focusing too much on the lyrics.

Same for you?
I was just trying to post what mine would be..but it gave me trouble posting..said "I timed out" or something crazy. ..but ya know, :sunglasses: I would not be opposed to going with yours!👌👍😁

Hmm, I would likely want a pretty shade of blue🩵.
For the song, oh my, well I plan on making a playlist for when "the time arrives". ..but rn, Im thinking something from Chris Cornell(I absolutely LOVE his voice and esp when they formed the group Audioslave--after him first being the singer for Temple of the Dog & Soundgarden). Oh Shoot!..so I had 2 songs from Audioslave, which would be: "Im am the Highway" and "Like a Stone"....but then when I was just typing Soundgarden & Temple of a Dog.... I thought that I would also want to hear "Fell on Black days" and then MOST Definitely "Say Hello to Heaven". Dang, so probably the latter one I named from his first group now that I'm hearing it in my head.

When my depression from chronic illness started to really sink in(approx in the year 2018-19)..I used to get up every day and play this "Live version of: 'Say hello to Heaven' ". I have an AWESOME surround sound system. (Sigh-its currently in a storage unit in VA though and I moved last year..but STILL HAVE YET to get ALLLL my stuff out of storage-issues man, just frkn ISSUES🤯 - lol, but seriously!). Anyway, I would play that song as the first of the day with my coffee. It was when I realized I had battled this stupid illness reaching over a half of decade at that point. I also was grieving over my other half of 20 years that died at only 39 years old. I wished it had been me😢. Oh God, I still get choked up. Just everything in "that time period" was when I realized, life could be real effing sh*tty. Im going to see if I can figure out how to post the best version of "Say hello to Heaven" w/ Chris Cornell singing it live(aka, the version I would listen to for days on end back in that time frame). ....sorry for getting off topic a bit guys!

Chris Cornell 'supposedly' died suicide by hanging in his hotel room after doing a show with his band Soundgarden in 2017. All the songs I named above that he wrote are mostly about depression and death. ...hence another reason why they would feel appropriate to ctb to them....
