• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

which coping tools to alleviate stress and anxiety do you use the most? for me, it's biking or rebounding (indoor mini trampoline). i find that wind blowing through me while exercising (biking especially) helps me feel less on edge. walks on windy days--like the wind is just clearing the body/mind for a while. volunteering with others helps me also....i get to focus on their needs rather than my own thoughts. what works for you?

Apparently I only use the bad ones according to arbitrary societal standards.

Depends on the emotion really. I guess all these emotions aren't exactly stress but, they're stressful to have, so:

Reluctance/ lethargy- my current most common emotion = Put music, films, box sets, pod casts- anything on in the background to try and encourage me to work. Contemplate failure and tell myself- if you don't get your shit together soon, things will just get worse! I find it a stressful emotion in the long-term because I know I'm self sabotaging when I'm this lethargic and, I know I'll end up regretting it.

Fear= Anything nostalgic and comforting. Food, films, music to try and tell myself it will be ok.

Sadness= Anything to just work through it. I don't tend to fight it. I just cry.

Frustration/ anger/ stress= Exercise tends to help. I used to go for long walks- 12+ miles and listen to angry music. So that I'm then too tired to feel anything but grateful when I'm resting again.
