• If you haven't yet, we highly encourage you to check out our Recovery Resources thread!
  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I am bipolar and the structure of my day is essential to stay somewhat stable.

I am very disciplined concerning food. I always have a schedule what to eat and when. I enjoy food despite the fact I mostly eat healthy food. I am scared about poverty and not being able to afford that pleasure anymore.

I always go to bed the same time. As a bipolar person my sleeping rhythm is very important.

I always take my medication at the same time so that I don't forget them. Since I take them I have improved I cannot imagine to live with the life quality from the time without medication. I know there are many sceptics concerning medication but they have helped me. But I don't deny they can have bad side effects.

Before I go to sleep I listen to sad music and write in this forum. These things help me to calm down. Without them I am more prone to mania.

In the morning I enjoy a hot coffee when I wake up. I love the taste of this certain coffee. I watch a lot of Youtube after I woke up and enjoy freetime usually. I noticed that I am more vulnerable when I don't take breaks. And they are more healthy for me when I take them before and after my sleep. As I said the sleep rhythm is decisive.

I also have a time period when I want to be productive. And usually I am productive during that time period.
I hope I could help anyone with this thread and give some ideas.

I think it is important to reward yourself if I you did something to improve. Sometimes small steps combined during a long time period can also have a big impact.

I used to be able to clean all nasty thoughts with just a walk in open nature. But that was before my cousin and best - and by now only - friend died.

After that I got no tricks no more. My demons win and they know it.
