  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

  • Security update: At around 2:28AM EST, the site was labeled as malicious by Google erroneously, causing users to get a "Dangerous site" warning in most browsers. It appears that this was done by mistake and has been reversed by Google. It may take a few hours for you to stop seeing those warnings.

If you're still getting these warnings, please let a member of staff know.

I thought things had actually changed, I thought things were actually going to stay okay this time. But no. Here I am. I'm slipping right back down into my depression hole that I know so well. I don't even understand why this is happening. I have everything I could ever want(realistically), but that changes nothing. I don't know what to do anymore. I can't even talk to anyone about it because I'm on a chapter 51 commitment and if I talk about how I'm not doing well ill just get sent back to the hospital. What am I suppose to do? I'm just so done with this.

When things get better and we get used to them being better, it is natural to assume we have found a new plateau. If we unexpectedly encounter some of the "slings and arrows of outrageous fortune", it can drain us of hope.

However, the memory of when things were better is something to which you can cling. It can become a foundation of hope upon which to build. If you are able to cycle in and out of depression, you have the evidence of your experience to help you look to the next emergence with optimism.

You might want to keep a diary to see if you can record anything useful that might help you advance some control like making the depression less severe or shorter in duration.

The brain quickly adapts to improvements and the pleasure you gained from changes will go away. Being around people is the best way to be happy.
