  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I don't see the point in living if the life I want isn't attainable someday. My ideal life isn't lofty.

I've been asked by therapists and others on multiple occasions, "how am I coping?" or, "what do you do to cope?" I can never answer because I don't understand how to cope, or even what it entails. I just escape my problems in one way or another.

Escapism is a coping mechanism, albeit not considered to be a healthy or mature one.

The ability or adaptation of the ability to "cope" is just a sad consolation prize for unmet needs imo. So to me asking "why cope?" is the same as asking "why keep on living?"

I don't even see the point of coping unless it's just short-term til a problem can be resolved, but not all problems can be resolved. Accepting a subpar life doesn't interest me.

It is the only true way to live happily for the majority of people. Coping to avoid problems is bad, but if you are forced to live in subpar circumstances I do not believe there is anything wrong with doing ways to negate the stress and work towards living peacefully.

The world just copes every day? Normies are a sad lot.

And yet the birth rate keeps climbing. Planet Misery
Does it? A lot of couples only having 1 child, some having 2. Not to mention the couples that don't have any children at all. Seems to me that the population isn't growing. It very well could be, I just don't see it. Either way, planet misery sounds accurate

Interesting, the counter is pretty neat. Not what I was expecting and super interesting actually.

I went down the rabbit hole a little (obviously) and found that people only makes up about one ten-thousandth of a percent of carbon life, with plants making up 82%. Take out plants and people make up .06%.

With people making up such a small part, it's insane that we're the ones destroying the ecosystem. The planter, as it is today, would be better off without people.

I guess that's a pro to ctb, the world would literally be better off
