• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Conventionally, this joke has been cited as an example of "anti-humor"--deriving it's supposed comedic value from the lack of a meaningful punchline. The answer to the riddle ("to get to the other side") is meant to be funny precisely because it's not funny at all.

Lately, however, I've been considering the possibility that the chicken was crossing the road in the hopes of being hit by oncoming traffic, thereby leaving this mortal realm and being transported to the "Other Side"( the Afterlife).

What are your thoughts?

Wow. Never thought of it that way. Now I can't think of it any other way. Makes a lot of sense.

I like this idea. What are your beliefs about the afterlife?

Have you ever encountered a spirit or dreamt of a departed loved one like had a visitation dream?

Don't personally believe. But who knows? I can't exactly trust my own mind these days, so...
