  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

It appears that this was done by mistake and has been reversed by Google. It may take a few hours for you to stop seeing those warnings.

If you're still getting these warnings, please let a member of staff know.

I've felt terrible for almost a month straight, from health problems, to work related stress, to falling out with friends, but now I just magically feel better for a moment? I don't get it. What caused this, and how can I stay like this? I would almost rather feel crappy again, though.

Still trying to figure this out myself, because the exact same thing happens to me. Ig we can at least use it as a sign better times are still possible

For kinda wanting to stay sad it's probably because its what we're used to

Some of this may be physiology. For example, a person may have a particular problem that worries them so much it is difficult to sleep, the next night they may be able to get a full night's sleep even though nothing about the problem has changed.

It shows that feelings may not be a completely reliable basis for decision making as the intensity can vary over time.

I know for me my depression is *mostly* episodic. So I'll feel likens hit for a few months and then I'm okay for a couple months. Usually it's a slower process though and not just one day I wake up and I'm okay. But savor every good day that you have because they dont always last. If you do good self care like eating right and exercising and stuff it might help the depression not be as strong. I know you already know this though, its preched and preached, and I know I definitely dont take care of myself well lol. Good luck to you!!

You might be bipolar, just like me.
There are days on which I'm just very depressed, suicidal and sad, and then, magically, I feel better and I can manage to deal with life easily.

What about seeing a psych to be diagnosed?
